  • January 2021: I have accepted an offer to join the Anderson School of Management at UCLA as an assistant professor in the DOTM area!
  • January 2021: Our paper “Fair Dynamic Rationing” (with Vahideh Manshadi and Rad Niazadeh) is now online (link).
  • November 2020: I presented my work at the INFORMS Annual Meeting.
  • October/November 2020: Three papers recently went through the review process:
    • “Online Policies for Efficient Volunteer Crowdsourcing” received a minor revision from Management Science.
    • “Commitment on Volunteer Crowdsourcing Platforms: Implications for Growth and Engagement” received a major revision from MSOM.
    • “Snapshot Models of Undocumented Immigration” was accepted to Risk Analysis.
  • September 2020: I am participating in the RMP Student Live Paper Series. You can watch my talk here.
  • September 2020: I am the third-place winner of the Rothkopf Prize for Junior Researchers as well as a finalist for the INFORMS Public Sector OR Best Paper Prize, both for “Online Policies for Efficient Volunteer Crowdsourcing.”
  • Summer 2020: I will be presenting “Online Policies for Efficient Volunteer Crowdsourcing” at EC ’20, the Kellogg-Wharton OM Workshop, and MD4SG ’20. A video of my 10-minute talk at MD4SG can be found here.
  • May 2020: Our paper “Online Policies for Efficient Volunteer Crowdsourcing” (with Vahideh Manshadi) has been accepted into EC ’20.
  • May 2020: Our paper “Diffusion in Random Networks: Impact of Degree Distribution” (with Vahideh Manshadi and Sidhant Misra) has been published in Operations Research.
  • November 2019: I have been awarded the Harry and Heesun You Fellowship by the Yale School of Management.
  • October 2019: I am presenting “Crowdsourcing Food Recovery: A Platform Design Study” (with Irene Lo, Vahideh Manshadi, and Ali Shameli) at the INFORMS Annual Meeting in Seattle
  • September 2019: I am visiting the Simons Institute for their Online and Matching-Based Market Design program.
  • August 2019: Our paper “Snapshot Models for Undocumented Immigrants” (with Ed Kaplan) has been selected as a finalist in the Public Sector OR best paper competition.
  • June 2019: For the summer, I will be working as a research science intern at Lyft on the driver positioning team.
